[Insight] French morale is back
February 1, 2017
Unbelievable but true, the French’s morale has reached its highest peak since 2007. According to Insee, households’ opinion on their financial situation has increased by 3%. The French seem to be more keen to save money. And, last but not least, fears related to unemployment are diminishing.
Given the current economic climate, Insee’s results are a true breath of fresh air. Households’ morale is a key element to assess future consumption level, a major driving force of the French growth.
